Create an FDA approved, off-the-shelf, scientifically proven orthobiologic for the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries in horses.

At Qentoros, we are harnessing the power of platelets to treat orthopedic injuries in horses. Like human athletes, horses get injured during sports by breaking bones, tearing tendons, straining muscles or tweaking joints. Over 600,000 horses per year will retire or lose their lives due to these musculoskeletal injuries.  To date, available treatments do not cure these ailments – they merely mask the pain.  Our unique product called BIO-PLY™ combines powerful anti-inflammatory activity with unique restorative properties that heal so-called terminal injuries. BIO-PLY™ is a unique combination of naturally-derived factors extracted from a blood cell called a platelet.  We harvest these factors from a healthy donor’s platelet for use in injured horses. Our product’s multimodal properties prolong the health of the musculoskeletal tissue for a long-term solution versus a short-term band-aid.
